By accessing alorpit.com or purchasing ALORPIT POS, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use our services.
2. Services
ALORPIT provides:
- ALORPIT POS™ software license
- ALORPIT Relay server connectivity
- Customer & Employee mobile applications
- Master Nexus dashboard access
- Technical support services
3. License Terms
Your use of ALORPIT POS is governed by the EULA provided at signup. Key terms:
- One license per physical machine per location
- Requires internet connectivity every 7 days (Heartbeat system)
- $149 reinstatement fee applies after lockout
- Vacation Mode available for planned closures
- Hardware-bound license that survives reinstallation
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Subscription: Monthly/annual subscription required for continued use.
4.2 Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew. Cancel before renewal date to avoid charge.
4.3 Reinstatement Fees: The $149 reinstatement fee is charged when the software locks due to missed Heartbeat verification. This fee is non-refundable except as stated in the EULA.
4.4 Hardware Change Fee: License transfers to new hardware may incur a transfer fee.
4.5 Refund Policy:
- New purchases: 30-day money-back guarantee if software fails to install on supported hardware
- Subscription fees: No refund for partial billing periods
- Reinstatement fees: Non-refundable per EULA
5. Acceptable Use
You may NOT use ALORPIT services to:
- Circumvent, disable, or bypass any license enforcement mechanism
- Reverse engineer or decompile the software
- Attempt to access other customers' data
- Use the relay infrastructure for unauthorized purposes
- Violate any applicable law
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ALORPIT DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
7. Limitation of Liability
ALORPIT'S LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED FEES PAID IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. ALORPIT IS NOT LIABLE FOR BUSINESS INTERRUPTIONS RESULTING FROM SOFTWARE SUSPENSION.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes resolved by arbitration in Ventura County, California. Class actions waived.
9. Changes
ALORPIT may modify these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
