Product Pricing & Billing Privacy & Data Support

Product

What makes ALORPIT different from other POS software?
Every ALORPIT install is custom-built for the store it's running in — your business name is built into the software itself, not just a logo slapped on a generic template. It's also 100% offline-first: your register keeps working during an internet outage, because your data was never depending on the internet to begin with.
What happens if my internet goes down?
Nothing — your POS keeps ringing up sales, printing receipts, and running normally. The only thing that needs occasional internet is a brief license check, and even that has a built-in grace window before anything is affected. See "What is the Heartbeat system?" below for the specifics.
What is the "Heartbeat" system, and what's the $149 fee about?
ALORPIT checks in with our license server roughly every 5 minutes when you have internet, just to confirm your subscription is active — this doesn't require you to do anything and doesn't slow anything down. If your store genuinely goes without any internet connection at all for 7 straight days, the software gives you a 48-hour grace warning before a temporary lock, and reinstating after a full lockout carries a $149 fee. If you know you'll be closed for a while (vacation, renovation), turning on Vacation Mode ahead of time avoids this entirely.
Can I try it before committing?
ALORPIT doesn't run generic free trials — access is offered through Pioneer Access, a paid onboarding path where your build is set up and configured for your actual store from day one. Reach out via the "Apply Now" button and we'll walk you through what that looks like for your business.

Pricing & Billing

How much does ALORPIT cost?
Pricing is tiered — Essential, Professional, and Premium — with the right tier depending on which modules your store needs. See the Pricing section on the homepage for current plan details, or use the savings calculator to estimate what makes sense for your store size.
Do subscriptions auto-renew?
Yes, subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. You can cancel any time before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.
Is my card information safe?
Your subscription payments are processed by Fiserv/CardPointe, a PCI-compliant payment processor — ALORPIT never stores your raw card number on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown of what is and isn't stored.

Privacy & Data

Does my customer data ever leave my store?
By default, no — your customer records, order history, and transaction data stay on your own local computer, full stop. There are exactly two opt-in exceptions: if you turn on the Driver App (driver info syncs so the mobile app can work) or a customer signs up through the Customer App (their contact info passes through briefly to link their account). Outside of those two features, nothing about your business or customers touches our servers. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
Does this website track me?
Only if you say yes. We use a first-party cookie system we built ourselves — no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, nothing tracked until you click Accept on the cookie banner, and declining costs you nothing. See our Cookie Policy for the exact two cookies we use.
How do I request my data or ask it be deleted?
California residents (and anyone, as a matter of practice) can email contact@alorpit.com to request what we hold, correct it, or ask for deletion. We respond within 45 days. See Section 5 of our Privacy Policy for full CCPA rights.
